Is the house structurally sound?

How do I know the age and remaining life expectancy of the roof?
We inspect the roofing materials, flashings, gutters, and drainage systems. Roof age is estimated from visible wear, manufacturing stamps, or permit records. Architectural asphalt shingle roofs typically last 20 to 25 years depending on weather exposure and ventilation.
How old is the HVAC system and how long do furnace and A/C units usually last?
We determine the age of heating and cooling equipment using the manufacturer serial numbers. On average, standard gas furnaces last 15 to 20 years, while central air conditioning units typically last 15 to 20 years with regular maintenance.
How old is the hot water tank and how long should it last?
The age of a water heater is identified via the serial plate on the unit. Standard tank-style water heaters generally have a functional lifespan of 8 to 12 years
Are there any problems in the attic?
